During our trip in the month of February, our students had the opportunity to explore the fields of health and wellness. A huge thank you goes to MVP Athletic Club, Zeeland Hospital/Spectrum Health, and Careerline Tech Center/EMS Program who introduced our students to a wide range of job possibilities in the health field.
The month of January was unique in that we only had one site to visit. Our students had the chance to visit and explore career opportunities at Walters Gardens. A big thank you to them for giving our students a look into all the jobs that they offer!
Thank you to Holland Litho, Charter House Innovations, and Holland Sentinel for hosting our students in December! During this trip, students were able to explore the fields of media and design and all the different forms that this field takes.
During our second Skills for Life trip of the year, we visited businesses that deal with different aspects of the automotive industry. A special thank you to Gentex, Crown Motors, and LG Chem for showing our students around and giving them an introduction to the automotive industry!
Our first of nine monthly trips throughout the 2017-2018 school year focused on manufacturing productions. Thanks goes to Herman Miller, Plascore Inc., and JR Automation for hosting our students and introducing them to the field of manufacturing!
