What Happens Each Program Day?

At Bridge to Excellence kids have time to eat, hang out, and burn some energy after school.

Students then split into mentoring groups where they complete homework, play games, and build relationships.

Mentoring groups also participate in a number of service projects throughout the year.

“My mentee and I have really connected over the last few months. He reminds me of myself when I was in middle school. Because we have so much in common, it is easy for me to understand where he is coming from and assist in motivating him to not give up on his academics. He likes to make jokes and is fun to hang out with. I think we are a great match!”
